What is BBF-2018

If briefly - this is an event where there is a place for everyone. Barcelona Beer Festival - an annual event dedicated to beer. All gather here: beer lovers, large beer producers, small craft brewers, musicians, judges of beer contests, people with children and without, tourists.

Place of the festival

The beer festival takes place in the picturesque city of Barcelona. For 3 days the exhibition center La Farga de L'Hospitalet becomes the center of attention. Schedule is so cool that you can stay there almost all day (from 11.00 to 23.00). In 2018, the BBF was held from 16 to 18th of March.

Who was there

The festival presented as many as 484 kinds of beer from different corners of our planet. The BBF hosted beers and brewers from such countries:

Why PET Keg becomes popular

We were confirmed by many breweries that participated in the festival, that difficulties in transporting beer for long distances and prices for steel kegs led to the search for an alternative. This alternative has become plastic kegs, which in Europe are a success. Disposable 30-liter kegs allow you to save both on the cost of the container itself and on transportation, because such keg does not need to be returned.

As craft beer brands grow, they develop, many of them want to represent their products not only in domestic but also in foreign markets. The choice of packaging in such cases is obvious.
